1. Purchased new Halfway through the summer of 07. 2. Cooks like a dream! Cooks fast and you don't need to turn the flame up. Maintenance 1. If you don't periodically remove the grates and clean the box it won't conduct heat very well. 2. Remove grates and lightly use a putty knife after each 2-3 usages. 3. Make sure to clean the small openings well. 4. No way to get rid of waste unless you pick up the whole box and tilt it around at various angles 5. Like all other multiple burner stoves flame efficiency is decreased when all 3 burners are in use, but not as much as traditional grills. 6. Grates are cast iron. They clean up wonderfully. Cure as any quality cast iron and/or a light spray of Pam before each use. Lifetime 1. Bottom of box is badly deteriorated, with holes that allow flame in box. after about one year of use. Replacement 1. On this site found replacement box for about $90.Thats approx 1/3 the cost to purchase the entire grill, including the box. Comes with Cast Iron grates and thermometer. 2. I only need to replace the box!
